About the Library

The Resources You Need; Anywhere, Anytime.

Founded in the early 1990s, the Moffitt Biomedical Library was created to provide Moffitt Cancer Center's clinical and research staff, students, and faculty with access to the best print and electronic resources on cancer and cancer therapies. Over the years, our collection has grown from less than 200 titles to over 10,000 titles; each one specifically selected for its coverage of subjects related to the cure and prevention of cancer.

The Moffitt Biomedical Library consists of eight staff members across six departments:

  • Library Reference & Education
  • Library Systems & Services
  • Research Administration Information Systems
  • Research Communications
  • Scientific Editing
  • Protocol Writing

The Library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Visitors are encouraged to set appointments ahead of time to ensure the best availability of service. For more information, please contact us.
