Susan Sharpe is the Manager of the Moffitt Biomedical Library. She oversees the Librarians, Digital Content Editor, Research Business Administrator, Scientific Editors, and Protocol Writers. Susan has worked at Moffitt for over fourteen years in varying roles and brings a wealth of experience in research information, content expertise, and industry knowledge to Moffitt.

Meg Blount is the Sr. Metadata & Applications Librarian for the Moffitt Biomedical Library. Meg is a skilled professional in library services, showcasing expertise in budget tracking and invoice administration. Her skills include maintaining and updating library catalogs, conducting original and copy-cataloging, and efficiently administering system maintenance for databases and digital resources.

She also excels in providing reference and technical support, offering assistance for research software, conducting personalized training sessions, and ensuring the seamless operation of online platforms. In data curation and reporting, she meticulously verifies faculty CVs, builds comprehensive publication reports, and collaborates with IT developers to develop the publications side of Marcene (Moffitt's homegrown database). 

Meg has been with Moffitt for seven years and loves the challenges of working in a health sciences field!

Mary-Kate Haver is the Medical Librarian for the Moffitt Biomedical Library. She creates a positive welcoming environment where each person feels comfortable asking questions and seeking assistance. Mary-Kate conducts literature searches, facilitates systematic review (SR) projects, hosts classes,"Drop-In"  and/or one-on-one training sessions for EndNote, LabArchives, PubMed, together with other library databases. She is a Distinguished Member in the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) of the Medical Library Association (MLA) as well as holds Level II Specialization in Consumer Health (CHIS). Advocating the library as the first point of contact for any question or information search, Mary-Kate champions the promotion of health literacy for all. 

Keri McAlpine is the Research Digital Content Editor through Moffitt’s Biomedical Library. She assists with the creation and management of Moffitt’s intranet pages, public faculty lab pages, compiles, edits and distributes the weekly Signals newsletter to all Moffitt employees. She is also on hand to assist in a variety of different digital content needs including editing, writing, and photography.

Gerard Hebert earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Arts in English Rhetoric and Writing from the University of New Mexico. He worked for 13 years as a technical editor on Mycologia, the official journal of the Mycological Society of America, and for 3 years as a technical writer for the Pueblo of Jemez Department of Health and Human Services in New Mexico. He edits writing across genres to be concise, precise, and sometimes even lyrical.

Fawn Vigneau is a Protocol Writer II and oversees the Protocol Writing Support Services unit of the Biomedical Library. This service supports clinical investigators in writing investigator-initiated Phase 1 & 2 clinical trial (IIT) protocols. Ms. Vigneau is a cancer epidemiologist, licensed attorney (MI) and former IRB reviewer for clinical research.

Deborah M. Moore is a Protocol Writer for investigator initiated clinical trials at Moffitt with a passion for oncology clinical trials and research. Deborah brings experience in oncology clinical trials having actively managed IITs, cooperative group and industry trials as an Oncology Clinical Research Specialist & Study Coordinator at the WVU Cancer Institute Clinical Trials Research Unit. She earned her Master of Science in Biological Sciences with a Microbiology focus, in addition to a Bachelor of Science double majoring in Microbiology and Cellular/Molecular biology. During undergraduate and graduate training, she was heavily involved in scientific research being awarded several competitive grants and fellowships.
