EndNote: Sharing Your Library

To share (compress) your EndNote Library:

• Open your Library
• Click "File"
  • Select "Compressed Library (.enlx)"
  • Select:
    • Create
    • Without File Attachments
    • Select References' options:
      • All References in Library                                                                                                                                                                    
      • Selected Reference(s)
      • All References in Group/Group Set <click Group/Group Set name>
    • Click "Next"
  • Save .enlx file
    • Check location that the file will be saved to
    • Click "Save"
  • Share the .enlx file
  • Just to note, depending upon the file size you may not be able to email this compressed file.
