Meg Blount

Meg Blount is the Sr. Librarian - Metadata and Applications for the Moffitt Biomedical Library. She manages budgets and invoices, maintains library catalogs, performs original and copy cataloging, and oversees system maintenance for databases and digital resources.

She provides reference and technical support, assists with research software, delivers training sessions, and ensures the smooth operation of online platforms. In data curation, she verifies faculty CVs, disambiguates faculty publications/tags, prepares publication reports, and collaborates with IT to develop the publications module of Marcene, Moffitt’s homegrown database.

Meg has been with Moffitt for eight years and enjoys the challenges of health sciences librarianship.
